Terms & Conditions: The Virginia Capital Trail Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works in partnership with the Virginia Department of Transportation and other state agencies and stakeholders, to fulfill a world-class vision of the project, promoting best practices for trail construction, maintenance and enhancements such as landscaping, interpretive stations and signage, while being sensitive to the environment and the concerns of the community. Sponsorships will be awarded on a first come, first served basis. VCTF retains rights of placement of each sponsored amenity and will attempt to provide sponsor with their desired location. VCTF reserves the right to approve message, creative content or decline sponsorships, at its discretion. Payment terms are outlined under payment terms section.
 
* The VCTF will work with V-DOT and the localities to replace any amenity in disrepair or deemed unsuitable due to theft, vandalism or other factors, at no cost to the sponsor. The sponsor may not remove or attempt to change their recognition plate. Should changes be requested, the VCTF will do so at the sponsor’s expense. Sponsorship terms are 30-years.
